Origin[]

Kokonut is Koko the Clown's sidekick (replacing Fitz the Dog) in Hal Seeger's 1960s adaption of Out of the Inkwell. Kokonut resembles a shorter version of Koko himself, but with a much larger personality, being very outgoing and energetic. He is always trying to win others over with his exuberance and extravagant style of speaking, even going as far as to win skeptics over by adding "…or vice-a versa" at the end of each spiel.
