Origin[]

Little Beaver is the boyfriend of a young Indian girl in his debut short, The Daffy Duckaroo. Daffy was almost kissed by him (Daffy was disguising himself as the Indian girl at the time).

The Indian girl says she would love to be Daffy's girlfriend, but her boyfriend Little Beaver will never allow it. When Little Beaver arrives, Daffy hides in a dresser and emerges disguised as an Indian girl himself. Little Beaver attempts to kiss him until he discovers the disguise.

Little Beaver chases Daffy through the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest until he calls for aid with smoke signals. The Indians surround Daffy's trailer and remove the tires. One Indian promptly returns them saying the tires do not fit his vehicle.

Notes[]

  • The Daffy Duckaroo entered the public domain in 1971 due to Warner Bros. failing to renew the copyright in time.
  • Despite Daffy Duck being heavily featured in Beaver's first appearance, Daffy himself will not enter the public domain until 2033 respectively due to his debut cartoon still being under copyright.
  • Little Beaver's voice is based on Red Skelton’s character Clem Kadiddlehopper; the character Daisy June shares the same name as Clem's girlfriend.
