Origin[]
Molly Moo-Cow was the name of an animated character appearing in Rainbow Parade shorts produced by the Van Beuren Studios in the 1930s.
Molly is portrayed as friendly, helpful, and often musical, with a warm nature and readiness to assist others—whether it’s rescuing butterflies, helping ducks, or protecting a Native American baby. However, despite her good intentions, she isn’t all that bright and is prone to giving into her own mischievous impulses, which often causes trouble for other characters.
