Moose McGee was both the best athlete but had the poorest grades at Riverdale High who resides in the town of Riverdale. His classmates included Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, Archie Andrews, and Reggie Mantle.
He has girlfriend named Lottie Little who Jughead tutors. Moose being an overly protective and jealous boyfriend will punch out any other boy who even looks at Lottie.

- In the first Moose story in Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #1, he is named Moose McGee but later is renamed Moose Mason. His girlfriend's also changes from Lottie Little to Midge Klump.
