Notes[]
- Although all four of her original books were once in the American public domain, only the first still is. The other three had their copyrights restored and were removed from the public domain on January 1, 1996, through the Uruguay Round Agreements Act. The name "Pippi Longstocking" is also trademarked and, thus, can only be used in the interior of a story.
