Full ad from Judge Magazine (April 1938).
The Mulberry Street Unicorn is a rare creature that Dr. Suess brought from the Bobo Isles. Although he has contacted strange and perplexing wild life in all parts of the globe, Dr Seuss frankly admits that the habits of the unicorn leave him absolutely baffled.
“‘The Unicorn’, writes Dr Seuss, seems to do nothing but just sit and think. About what, nobody knows. One can only eliminate certain thoughts as improbable, such as thoughts about xylophones, zippers and Zog of Albania.
Notes[]
- The original Judge magazine advert of for the Mulberry Street Unicorn was never renewed. Neither the 1965 Copyright Records nor the 1966 Copyright Records contain any renewal for the advert and the magazine issue.
