Narizinho is a 7-year-old girl with a turned-up nose is Benta's granddaughter and Pedrinho's cousin. She is an orphan and lives on the farm with her grandmother. She is as dark as a rose apple, loves popcorn and already knows how to make some really tasty tapioca flour cakes. Narizinho is the best friend of Emília, the talking doll, and also has a cousin who lives in the city, Pedrinho, who comes to spend the holidays at the farm of the grandmother of both cousins. She is the protagonist of the first stories of the Sítio do Pica-pau Amarelo series, a role that, throughout the stories, she shares with Emília and Pedrinho, who together make big plans, play pranks and have fun. In Reinações de Narizinho, the title character marries Prince Escamado, becoming Princess of the Kingdom of Águas Claras.
