The Nightmare is a ghastly monstrous Muppet who embodies all the fear and anxieties that new home owners feel when trying to finance their house. It manifests as an ambiguous purple humanoid figure with long sharp claws, a maw full of fangs, and a pale skull-like face with sunken glowing eyes and a long pointed nose. Only the home improvement loan from the FHA seems to drive the malevolent spirit away.
