Origin[]

Pedrinho is a character from the book series Sítio do Picapau Amarelo who had his first appearance in 1920 being created by the Brazilian writer and translator Monteiro Lobato. His name is Pedro Encerrabodes de Oliveira. He is a very brave boy (his only fear is wasps), adventurer, grandson of Dona Benta and cousin of Lúcia (Narizinho), Pedrinho lives in the city and always comes to spend his holidays at his grandmother's farm. It is there that he, along with his cousin, the doll Emília, the Visconde de Sabugosa and others, plot and carry out various pranks and reigns on the farm and wherever their imagination takes them. He is nine years old, and has short hair.
