The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues is a human-sized radioactive reptilian sea monster that was mutated by an experiment done by marine biologist Dr. King. It attacked and killed many divers and fishermen, while defending a radioactive rock created by the same experiment. Once the protagonists of the movie make King realize the destruction his creations have caused, he goes out to sea with explosives to destroy them. He gets dragged down by the sea monster after placing the bombs on the rock, but they all explode, completely destroying King, the rock and the monster.
