Origin[]
The Prankster fought against an oppressive regime in the city of Ultrapolis, in a possible alternate future where even playing music without a permit was a capital crime. The Prankster used humor as a weapon in his arsenal, since humor was outlawed in Ultrapolis. He also used bizarre weapons such as laughing gas, a jet-powered hot-air balloon, and a magic flute.

Notes[]
- Like many Charlton characters such as Tyro Team, Spookman, and Shape, the Prankster is in the public domain thanks to a lack of a proper copyright notice. This is because any work published without a proper copyright notice between 1923 and 1977 are in the public domain.
- Second story was promised, but never appeared. It is not clear that the Prankster was one of the Charlton "Action Heroes" picked up by DC Comics, although he appeared in the 1986 DC Challenge.
The first appearance of the Prankster has an improper copyright notice shown here.
