Quorak was a brilliant, but insane scientist, originally from Earth, who sought ultimate power. He lived on a planetoid called Spectremus in the year 2000 (60 years in the future). He invented the Spectro-Magnet, powered by Lodium, which was able to pull Pluto out of its orbit around the sun, largely destroying the society that had developed on the planet. Quorak also possessed a number of high-tech weapons, including a stasis ray which could trap people by levitating them. He was defeated by Lt. Gary Blake and Joan Perry.
