Origin[]
Randolph Carter was a former student of Miskatonic University and a writer of weird fiction who did not, at first, believe in supernatural phenomena. However, he later began to investigate such phenomena, after several harrowing experiences. For example in The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath, Randolph Carter confronts Nyarlathotep who manifests in the form of an Egyptian pharaoh.
Notes[]
- Randolph Carter is widely assumed to be an alternate identity for H.P. Lovecraft himself.
