The Red Regent is a rogue Nazi agent imbued with the ability to control and manipulate fire. He is an enemy of Captain Future.
The Red Regent was once a normal laborer back in Germany. One day he was knocked into a blast furnace while still wearing an asbestos suit. He was pulled out of the furnace in seconds, but the suit fused to his body sealing in 1700 degrees of heat. He amazingly survived gaining superpowers. He tricked Hitler into believing he would serve him, but he was really serving him for his own interests. He would face Captain Future and in their first encounter Future would cause Regent's car to crash. This did not kill him but only made him angry. Though after this he is never seen again.
Powers and Abilities[]
He has control over fire and has leadership qualities. He was also a good fighter. His suit apparently helped give him powers or if he really needs the suit to use his powers.

- The Nedor comics were renewed by Popular Library, which was eventually bought out by Fawcett Books. When Fawcett went out of business, Popular Library was sold to Warner Bros. A number of different publishers, however, are currently/have been using these characters without any lawsuits from Warner Bros., so any action over them is (probably) unlikely. They are still, however, "use at your own risk" characters.
