Private detective Rod Rooney had a reputation for solving impossible and bizarre crimes, and much to the dismay of the police force, he kept showing them up. For the most bizarre crimes, he did his investigating as the masked hero known as the Red Rogue. His only appearance was in a story entitled "The Murderer That Had No Feet."
