Rueben Rueben was a young orphan who ran away from the orphanage. He hid out in an old castle, but discovered it was his ancestor's home. His ancestors still haunted the castle as ghosts, all sharing the same name as their descendant, and wanted to help him.
After running away from an orphanage, Rueben Rueben hide in an old castle, only to discover it was his ancestral home. The castle ghosts, his ancestors (all named Rueben Rueben like him), wanted to help him, so each endowed him with the power they were famous for - one gave strength, another wisdom, yet another speed and another courage. To call on their powers, he merely needed to call out "Hey Rube" to be transformed into the adult hero Red Rube. In his civilian identity Rueben went on to become a Daily Sun cub reporter.

Origin

Rueben Rueben was a young orphan who ran away from the orphanage. He hid out in an old castle, but discovered it was his ancestor's home. His ancestors still haunted the castle as ghosts, all sharing the same name as their descendant, and wanted to help him.

Rueben later became a cub reporter for the Daily Sun.
