Robber Kitten was the titular character of a book of the same name, written by Robert Michael Ballantyne. The story follows a mischievous young kitten who, tired of being good, decides to become a robber and live in a dreary wood. Equipped with pistols, a sword, and a rebellious spirit, the kitten sets out on a series of bumbling adventures, only to find that the life of crime is not as glamorous as it seemed. After a series of failed robberies and encounters with other criminals, the kitten experiences the consequences of its actions, ultimately leading to a moment of repentance and a return to its loving mother.
