Robber the Boy Plunder was the sidekick of Badman, the arch foe was Blooperman and his superhero teammates in the Bestest League of America. While he was called the "Boy Plunder", Robber was shown to be constantly smoking a cigar and having a five o'clock shadow hinting that he was actually a short adult masquerading as a child.
He lived in Bruce Pain's statley manor with a loyal butler who was owed 5 years of back salary. They duo of darkness also had a secret headquarters under their the manor called the Bad Cave and drove a green convertible as a getaway vehicle.
The pair kidnapped Blooperman and brought him to the Bad Cave where they use a hypnosis spray developed by Badman to turn the hero into a criminal like them. However, Blooperman managed to signal the Bestest League of America to save him before he fully succumbed to the hypnosis. The BLA overwhelm the criminals and send the pair to jail.
Powers and Abilities[]
Robber had no powers, but as the sidekick to a wealthy inventor and chemist, he had access to gadgets and chemicals all bearing the "Bad" moniker such as the Bad Hypnosis Spray.
Public Domain Appearances[]
- Go-Go Comics #3-4
Notes[]
- The character is an obvious spoof of Robin and even copied the catchphrase "Holy...Batman!" but replacing the DC hero's name with his mentor's name, Badman.
- Robber is in the public domain thanks to a lack of a proper copyright notice (any work published without one between 1923 and 1977 immediately entered the public domain).
