Captured by a seven foot stranger, Frank Blade and Mac Harmon were forced to board a rocket to the planet Platura. After leading a mutiny against their captors, the Rocket boys and two native companions flee in a space ship to a distant star cluster. Hunting for radium to supply their ship's driving power. They land on the planet Thostia inhabited by creatures of super intelligence who make them captives.
