The Sailor is a reoccurring character within The Dover Boys at Pimento University. As a running gag, he would walk across the screen with a musical snippet playing, interrupting the action as everyone else (including the narrator) waited for him to be finished. He ends the short walking into the sunset with Dora Standpipe.
