Scare Devil was a member of the Marvelous Heroes who was listed on the final page of issue #5 of Go-Go Comics along with Mr. Fantabulous, Fumin' Scorch, Thang, and Tin Can. While named to be one of the heroes to appear in the next issue, Scare Devil does not appear in issue #6.

- The character is an obvious spoof of Marvel's Daredevil.
- The Marvelous Heroes are in the public domain thanks to a lack of a proper copyright notice (any work published without one between 1923 and 1977 immediately entered the public domain).
