Sky Smith originally worked as manager of the Calder Airline station in that part of South America where revolutions are not an unusual but he received orders to close up the airfield pending the finish of a sudden revolt. He proceeds to stop the kidnapping plot by the revolutionaries of his boss Mr. Calder. After rescuing his boss and being asked to return to his old job as manager, Smith turns it down. Instead he chose to become a flying soldier of fortune even flying coast to coast and even as far north as Alaska for a job.
