The Son of Sinbad who was also named Sinbad after his father was an charming adventurer and sailor who would often rescue damsels in distress and find treasures such as jewels or pearls.
In Ransom of Shipwreck Shoals!, Sinbad secures the release of the slave girl Elene from Mytar, and recovers a fortune in gems and jewels in the process.
In The Curse of the Caliph's Dancer, Sinbad and Haroun engage in a competition to find the largest pearl. The prize is the hand of Kina, the Pearl of Baghdad.
In the Merchant of Menace, Sinbad, with the help of Sara, recovers merchandise stolen from the Sultan by Ahram.
In The Princess of Pirate Cove, Sinbad saves Princess Xenia from the female pirate captain Lahru who conditioned meek maidens into savage cave women who she used to guard her treasure cove.
