Origin[]
The Steam Man is a colossal, seven-foot-tall steam-powered robot built in the American prairies. The atamoton is incredibly durable and can run at speeds up to 60 mph.
This steam-man was constructed by the teenage Johnny Brainerd, a hunchbacked youth who uses the steam-man to carry him in a carriage on various adventures. Together, with a group of other adventurous boys, they set out on a cross-country trip across the Western wilderness, partaking in a buffalo hunt and encountering a grizzly bear, Native Americans, and the near-theft of Brainerd’s machine by outlaws.
