Origin[]
Super Duck (nicknamed "Supe") is an anthropomorphic duck who, earlier on in his debut appearances, took on the role of a superhero, blending elements of humor and adventure in his stories. Similar to the original Blue Beetle and Black Terror, Super Duck got his powers from a prescription for vitamins and wore a red and green capedjumpsuit resembling the classic superhero attire. With his newfound abilities, he became the crime-fighting hero, thwarting various evil schemes and protecting his city from various threats, including an attack by Adolf Hitler.
As a superhero, Super Duck was characterized by his bravery, wit, and sometimes his overconfidence. He possesses a strong sense of justice and a desire to help others, often diving headfirst into dangerous situations to save the day. Despite his heroic intentions, Super Duck's ventures often ended in comical mishaps, most on account of being impaired by his crosseyed vision.
His stint as a superhero was short-lived, however, and Super Duck would eventually settle down for a more domestic lifestyle with his bratty nephew, Fauntleroy Duck, competing against Dapper Duck over the affections of his shrewish love interest, Uwanna.
Powers and Abilities[]
As Super Duck, Supes possesses superhuman strength, agility, and durability. He can fly with the help of his cape, although his flight abilities may sometimes be erratic and comical. However, the effects of the vitamin pills which he consumes have a temporary limit.
