Plane Crazy won't enter the Public Domain until 2025, because it came out in 1929.[]

Because it came out in 1929, Don't add it to the Public Domain Cartoons list until January 1, 2025.

—The sound version is still under copyright, but the original silent version is public domain. I’m not sure why the note was removed. LogiTeeka (talk) 21:50, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

I removed it because I wanted to double check and confirm that's true and then just completely forgot about it until now. I'm sorry. Please feel free to re-add it. :-) Cebr1979 (talk) 21:55, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

Mickey's Folleys not being PD?[]

I was just contacted on facebook about 'Mickey's Follies' having its copyright renewed and provided this link. Does anyone want to double-check this? If not, I will after work tonight.Cebr1979 (talk) 14:39, 7 February 2024 (UTC)

I was wondering about this. Originally, I had the cartoon “Minnie’s Yoo-Hoo” listed among the PD cartoon appearances, which I guess reused footage from the “Mickey’s Follies” short. But not long after it was added, some other user changed it to “Mickey’s Follies” instead. I assumed the edit was done by somebody who knew what was up, but I guess I was mistaken.LogiTeeka (talk) 15:22, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
Here’s a link to the wiki article. (https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Minnie%27s_Yoo_Hoo_(film) ).
Yeah all that is correct. I've updated both Mickey and Minnie. Interestingly enough Minnie doesn't appear in Minnie's Yoo Hoo even though the song is about her. Crimsoncrusader (talk) 15:49, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
