I've read the majority of Mighty Man's appearances, and as near as I can tell, the name "Scott Pearson" doesn't appear anywhere until the Malibu version of the character, so I tend to assume that it's not part of the Public Domain aspect of this character. For that matter, I have yet to see anything that refers to the Professor who found him in the Hidden Valley by name, despite all the websites that refer to that character as "Prof. Pearson"--if either of these names were used in a Centaur comic, could someone show me when? I'd hate to think that all this stuff was established in the one or two chapters that I haven't been able to read yet.
