Origin[]

Thing that hunts for me 02

The Thing that Hunts for Me in human form.

The Thing was an alien from a space-faring species. It visited Earth in order to secretly study humans as part of an unknown 'master plan', but was observed arriving by an old man. Determined to silence the observer, it pursued the old man, but was unable to catch him.

Three years later, the Thing was still on Earth, now disguised as a young woman. It coincidentally ran into the old man again, who told 'her' the story of his encounter with the alien. Soon after, an unexpected knock at the door caused the old man to suffer a heart attack and die. The Thing was relieved that the old man died of natural causes, as it would have been too dangerous to kill him directly in a populated area.
