Don Wallace was the hero known as Torpedo Man who operated out of a hidden base under the Statue of Liberty, in New York harbor.
In an undersea adventure, Torpedo Man discovered a giant octopus which really was a front for a group of criminals who were trying to hide illegal oils wells.
