Origin[]
A mysterious spacecraft dredges out large swaths of soil from the Western United States, digging tremendous trenches on the Earth’s surface. Member nations of the United Nations band together to destroy the alien threat. They call upon Professor Malcom Salem to investigate. Salem reveals the alien craft is a likely threat. He reports his findings and urges spaceships be sent to destroy the alien spacecraft dredging the Earth.
U.N. space ships are sent to destroy the alien dredge. Under Salem's advice, the establishes its U.N. Guard Patrol. which includes a fleet of spaceships to fend off future extraterrestrial attacks.
