Wombatman was a member of the superhero team called the Bestest League of America, called the BLA for short, was a superhero team who were described as foes of injustice and enemies of evil. Their motto was "One for All and All for Wonderous Woman."
In Alter Ego #1, his fellow members consisted consisted of Wondrous Woman, Green Trashcan, Lean Arrow, Aquariuman, Martian Manhandler, and Cash. Superham and Wombatman mentioned as fringe members who have not attended a team meeting in awhile.
In the BLA's appearances in Go-Go Comics published by Charlton Comics, Wombatman was replaced with a parody character called Badman.
