Yrina was a queen of the space pirates. She was considered one of the most foul and black-hearted criminals in the entire galaxy (even by other pirates), and were she captured, the penalty for her crimes would have been instant death. When she was about to be captured by Captain Xres of Space Patrol, she changed her hair color and switched places with Futura, who had recently become her prisoner. Xres took Futura to be sentenced for Yrina's crimes, but the space pirate Omma rescued her and helped Futura track Yrina down. Omma and Yrina decide to join forces against Futura, but in the fight with Futura, Yrina accidentally shoots Omma, sending their ship hurtling into the ocean of an alien planet. Futura placed a space helmet on Yrina and dragged her from the wreckage, but the unconscious Yrina was attacked by sea monsters as Futura attempted to defend her. It is unclear if Yrina survived this experience.
